Herbert simms
Designed to accompany Lindie Naughton's book "Herbert Simms: An Architect for the People", the maps below outline routes you can follow to explore some of Simms most significant contributions to the city of Dublin. Simms was Dublin's first housing architect who created affordable housing for the people of the city from 1932 to 1948. While his work continues to be revered by architects, the purpose of Lindie's book is to draw wider attention to the value of the Simms buildings.
Building illustrations are by Gary Power.
Colours and fonts match the book cover designed by Niall McCormack.
